Jessica’s journey at Casal Catering began in 2000 when she joined the team as a Banquet Server. Her love and passion for cooking inspired her to obtain her Hospitality diploma from Georgian College in 2002, and her Sport & Event Marketing diploma from George Brown in 2004. The same year, Jessica’s hard work paid off when she was promoted to Banquet Manager. Later that same year, Jessica’s dedication and passion lead her to purchase Casal Catering – where she is now Owner and Manager.
Tate Wheeler began his cooking journey inspired by his mother and a passion for cooking, flavours and creativity. He received his training at Keyano College in Fort McMurray in 1989, while working his apprenticeship hours at a local pub and restaurant. Tate’s past experience includes Silk’s Fine Dining at Horseshoe Resort as a Breakfast Chef and Saucier, and as Head Chef at Georgian Downs. He obtained Red Seal Training in 1996. In 2011, Tate joined Casal Catering as Head Chef.
Stephanie has been with Casal Catering since 2007 – where she started as On-Site Weekend Manager. She obtainer her degree in Event and Conference Management in 2007 from Thomson Rivers University. When she’s not managing the banquet for Casal, Stephanie works full time at Galigraph Design in Barrie.
Colin joined Casal Catering in 2002 as a part-time Prep Cook. Over the years, Colin proved himself to be reliable and hardworking, and became Sous Chef full-time.
Chris started in Casal’s kitchen in 2008, and obtained a diploma in Culinary Management in 2010. As Kitchen Assistant, Chris is Casal’s go-to-guy in the kitchen, and is always happy to lend a hand.
Neil and I wanted to thank you for an incredibly great job! The food and service was absolutely perfect. Our guests are still raving about the food and how impressed they were. Thank you again for such a wonderful job!
